Mark (left) has owned Henry’s End, the renowned Brooklyn Heights restaurant known for its annual game festival and award winning wine list, since 1986. He started there as a dishwasher in 1980 and worked his way up the ladder to waiter, manager and then chef.
Mark enrolled at The Culinary Institute of America in 1984, and upon graduation purchased the restaurant. Henry's End consistently gets high food ratings from the Zagat survey. An earlier edition said "This is why they built the Brooklyn Bridge." He has hosted dinner at the prestigious James Beard House and recently appeared on the Food Network's "The Food Detectives." Mark lives in Brooklyn Heights with his wife and two daughters.
